3 of Gears

This is where I am on this card. The background is collaged with antique dictionary pages and I’ve been considering overlaying those areas with more words in a mix of calligraphy scripts and stamped fonts. The words all relate to the typical meanings for the 3 of swords. Do you guys think that’s a good idea or should I just stick to a few more antiquing washes and detailing the heart? I’m just concerned too many details won’t show when it’s shrunk and printed.

WIP – 6 of Genitalia – Elephant Junk Trunk

I need input, please.  Here is the rough draft of the line work for this card.  I’m attempting a play on a regular face card, which usually has the reversed double-headed figures.  Of course, my guy’s head is chopped off at the neck.  But I wanted to get 6 elephants in there, and this was what came to mind.  Any suggestions, etc?

Project Timeline

How ironic. This is the stuff I hate dealing with  at my day job and I manage to avoid doing it….

The marketing/sales stuff and dates are possible – I’d like to hear your views on how we should market these decks. It is a limited edition of 1000 – if it sells out really fast, are we going to do another press run? Or are we going to keep the value of the decks high by only offering 1000 of them? Personally, I think this should be a one-shot deal. Otherwise, I will go mad if I have to do royalty statements for years to come.
