Man, this was agonizing.  This is the total redo card – tried mustache – looked like hell.  Tried tophat/steampunk – looked like hell.  Sat down to print it out and do some pen fuckery to it, printer won’t work right.  So what next? Wait – OCTOPUS!

Tools – 6 – The Six Legged Octopus

Tools - 6 - The Six Legged Octopus

So this is my mostly done version of the six legged octopus. What do you guys think? The sun fish in the corner will get his lips and eyes and whatnot back, and the corners will get fixed. Don’t worry. This’ll all get cleaned up soon. I was just curious about you guy’s thoughts on it. Thanks!

Everyone is finally here – but we have one card unspoken for

We have one person who can’t fulfill her commitment to the project, because life got in the way. So we have a card that is “up for grabs”

3 of Gears

This is where I am on this card. The background is collaged with antique dictionary pages and I’ve been considering overlaying those areas with more words in a mix of calligraphy scripts and stamped fonts. The words all relate to the typical meanings for the 3 of swords. Do you guys think that’s a good idea or should I just stick to a few more antiquing washes and detailing the heart? I’m just concerned too many details won’t show when it’s shrunk and printed.
