WIP: 9 of wands, the magician

Getting there, getting there…just…have…to… colour it…in….

So, this card is meant to be in the style of pychedelic rock posters from the 60s. I still want to add some extra detail into the borders, but you get the gist. The colour sets above are taken directly from several original posters. But I’m having trouble choosing which way to go! Any thoughts?

Oh. Cosmic Yak gave me an orgasm.I guess there’s no way to use ALL the color combos on one card (too small?) in a sort of Andy Warhol homage?

You should offer this up as a poster and a fucking t-shirt.

The most readable is the one with the black background.

Will you mentor me in your artistic ability? I’m too old to have your babies.

You really should have made this 2 posts. I want to comment on the Elf/Magician because that’s also incredible, but cosmic yak is …. cosmic yak.

…and you also need to comment on the “how do you want to be listed” post

(and I’m done commenting in your post for the moment. I’m still grooving on cosmic yak, man)

The fuckery on the table on the Elf card is a thing of beauty. Color that bitch in – I want to see it!

I am very partial to the two pink/purple/turquoise combos on the bottom row. I have always adored cosmic yak!!! This is excellent and very groovy!

I like the first cosmic yak.

I love the wizard. Beautiful work.

Making a note here that the Magician card must be changed to “Sir Flounce of the Forest”

(see today’s Regretsy post, “Ultimate Butthurt” if you don’t know why)

I like the third and fourth one. The purpley browny one, and the green blue red white one.
